Salters AFC - Our Captain Retires

Salters captain Steven Illingworth has decided to hang up his boots. Steven has been Salters captain from the very beginning and last season was virtually ever present in our league campaign. A great leader and huge influence on the team, Stevens presence will be sorely missed for the coming season. The highlight of Stevens time with Salters was leading the team out in two cup finals.

We are hoping after a break from the game Steven will return to help out the manager in a coaching roll. Everyone at Salters has massive respect for our captain and we pass on our best wishes to Steven for the future.
