| Match Report | Salters narrowly lost 3-2 to current Premier League Champions Redhall Star. Two identical goals, both great finishes from Paul Nelson, were not quite enough to earn Salters a point. Redhall had far more of the play and looked very dangerous all over the park with the attacking trio of Nacho, Sherriff and Fisher causing chaos everytime they got the ball. Salters did have chances, however terrible finishing from Paul Milligan on a few occasions let Salters down. In truth Salters cant argue, Redhall were the better team. However Salters battled away hard and gave everything we had which was pleasing. On another day we might have taken something from this game, however the experience gained and lessons learned will help us in the future. Best of luck to Redhall in the league campaign ahead. |
