Salters were missing several key players for this match including influential midfield duo Blair Mathewson and Michael Jones as well as top scorer Paul Milligan whose son was born during the course of the match.

Paul Nelson gave Salters the lead on the half hour mark and things looked comfortable. However Sporting Chesser grabbed two late goals and looked to have won the game. Paul Nelson got another goal to level the tie and take it to extra time.
 
With the last kick off the ball Chesser grabbed the win and progressed to the next round of the cup.

Salters were very unlucky not to get two penalties and Sporting Chesser should have had two men sent off for two shocking lunges that were definite straight red cards.

The playing conditions were terrible and the game should never have gone ahead, this has resulted in the pitch being declared unplayable for the rest of the season!
