| Match Report | Salters advanced to their first ever semi final thanks to a convincing win against first division side Liberton United. First half goals from Ryan Newton and David Jamieson along with a double from Paul Milligan put Salters firmly in control early on. Liberton battled away and showed some decent stuff, however going forward Salters were looking to score every time we got the ball. A further five goals from Paul Milligan in the second half including two brilliant volleys killed the game dead. There were also chances for Stephen Brown, Kevin Robinson and Blair Mathewson in particular. Liberton got a deserved goal themselves with a good finish but Salters ran out winners by 9 goals to 1. Salters now have a semi final against Boca to look forward to which will be undoubtedly one of our hardest games of the season. However well done to everyone to get us in to our first semi final!
