Salters AFC - John Tams Fundraising Match
John Tams of Duddingston Athletic was involved in a horror incident whilst on honeymoon abroad. John suffered terrible injuries whilst putting his own life on the line to save his new wife. Although John is making progress there is still a long way to go.
The two amateur sides John plays for, Duddingston Athletic and Real Maroon, are to play against a Hearts Legends team on Sunday 5th September at Bonnyrigg Rose Juniors ground in Bonnyrigg to help raise funds to support his recovery. Kick is 3pm.
The players and management of Salters AFC will be making a contribution to the fund and are hopeful of getting a free week so we can attend the match.
