Salters AFC are delighted to announce that we will have the continued support of the Salters Inn for the foreseeable future.
After meeting with the new owners Helen and Drew on Thursday 10th July both parties agreed to continue the sponsorship we had already started with the previous owner. Salters AFC and the Salters Inn both stressed the importance of working closer together and developing the link between the football team and the pub further.
As part of the deal Salters AFC agreed to use the pub after all home matches and have 2/3 fundraising events per year. In return the football team were given most of the money towards our league fees which was very much appreciated.
Having only took charge in June, Helen and Drew have already stamped their mark on the pub by refurbishing the lounge area with a much more modern and friendly décor.
Everyone at Salters AFC would like to thank Helen and Drew for their support and look forward to a long and successful relationship.
